Typical Sub-Buck Frames

When the masonry wall condition is very rough and uneven, a sub buck frame is used to make the opening square and provide more rigid anchoring.

The sub buck portion of the frame is attached by bolting to the masonry wall and acts as a masonry system.

The portion of the frame with hardware preps is then attached with screws.
